Streamlined Application Process

Visa applications in Thailand are often long and complex with strict eligibility requirements. Thailand Elite Visa applications on the other hand are designed to be quick and stress-free:

• The application timeline is far quicker, lasting between 1 to 3 months on average
• There are no age, financial, income, education, employment, health insurance, or property-related requirements to meet; simply pay the membership fee and pass a background check
• The application can be completed both while overseas and while in Thailand

Easy Upgrades

If you feel that 15 years is simply too short, you can prolong your stay by upgrading to a 20+ year Reserve membership, provided Thailand Privilege has issued you an invitation. You must pay a fixed upgrade fee of 100,000 THB (approximately $2,720) plus the additional membership fee (calculated as the difference between the Diamond and the Reserve membership cost).

Add Family Members to Thailand Privilege at a Discount

At Platinum, Diamond, and Reserve tiers, you can add family members to a Thailand Privilege Membership. As the core applicant, you can add your family members at a reduced cost of 1,500,000 THB (approximately $41,190) per individual.

Requirements for the Thailand Privilege Diamond Membership

As part of your application, you will need to provide the following:

• Application fee of 50,000 THB (equivalent to roughly $1,370)*
• Completed and signed Membership Application Form for Diamond Membership (Core member)
• Completed and signed Membership Application Form for Diamond Membership (Additional member, only required if you are including any family members)
• Completed and signed Membership Application Fee Payment Form
• Photocopy of your US passport (in color, with the passport signature visible)**
• Recent passport-sized photograph (in color, taken against a white background)***
• Supplementary documents which may include:
• Completed and signed Education Visa Holder Acknowledgement Form (if you are a current or past ED Visa holder)
• Proof of relationship documents, such as a marriage or birth certificate (only if you are including family members in your membership plan)

*NOTE: Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. has temporarily waived the 50,000 Baht Membership Application Fee for applications submitted from September 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. This initiative is intended to simplify the membership process and enhance accessibility for prospective applicants. Those who applied prior to this period can continue to complete their membership fee as originally scheduled.

**NOTE: Ensure that the signature indicated on your passport directly matches the signatures included in all your signed documents. The photocopies you provide must include:

• Your passport’s biopage
• Passport page showing your latest entry visa stamp (only required if you are applying for the membership in Thailand)
• Your passport’s signature page (only if the biopage does not show the passport signature)

***NOTE: Confirm your photograph was taken in the past 6 months. You should consult your GSSA for instructions regarding the dimensions of the photograph.

Applying for the Thailand Privilege Diamond Membership

Before applying, it's a good idea to consult a General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA) so you can get answers to all your questions and free assistance with preparing your application. Authorized by the Thai government to guide Thailand Elite Visa applicants through their application, GSSAs will review and submit your application on your behalf. Having one by your side relieves stress and ensures your application has minimal risk of delays or rejection.

Once you’ve engaged with a reputable GSSA, the application process is as follows:

1. Gather all necessary documents for the applications as detailed above.
2. Submit the completed application forms, your photograph, and your passport photocopies to your GSSA.
3. Pay the 50,000 THB application fee and complete the Membership Application Fee Payment Form.
4. After your GSSA submits your application to TPC, a Thai immigration officer will be assigned to carry out your background check.
5. Wait between 4 to 6 weeks for a result regarding your background assessment. If successful, an email will be sent with an approval letter and payment instructions attached.
6. Pay your membership fee within 30 days by following the instructions.
7. Wait 5 to 10 business days for a membership ID and welcome letter from TPC. This will mark the date your membership begins.
8. Contact the member contact center to schedule an appointment for attaching the Thai Elite Visa to your passport. You can affix it at these locations:
1. Royal Thai Consulate or Thai Embassy in the US (if applying abroad)
2. Suvarnabhumi Airport or Phuket International Airport (if flying into Thailand)
3. Thai Immigration Office on Chaengwattana Road (if applying in Thailand)
9. Congratulations, you now have your Thai Elite Visa in your possession.
